This site sells interview ebooks and shows my work. Here is everything it collects, why, and for how long.
Your account
Your email, your name if you sign in with Google, and your password stored only as a one-way hash. Used to sign you in, show your ebooks and send your receipt.
Which questions you marked revised, and the days you revised, to show your progress and streak.
Payments
Payments in rupees are handled by Razorpay, and in other currencies by Dodo Payments. This site never sees your card or UPI details; it keeps the order, the amount, the gateway’s payment id and the email you paid with, which becomes your account.
Visits
When you arrive, the site records the page, the link or app you came from, the share code in the link, your IP address, the approximate place it maps to (city, state and country), and your device type, operating system, browser and phone model.
While you browse, it records the pages you open, the links and buttons you tap, and whether a checkout was opened, closed or declined. This shows which pages help people decide.
Two cookies give your browser and device random ids. They tell visits apart and enforce the limit of 2 signed-in devices. There are no third-party trackers or ads.
Visit records, IP addresses included, are deleted after about 13 months.
The reader
Paid pages show your email faintly across the page, so a shared screenshot names its source.
